- Isabel May is set to star in and executive produce Amazon MGM Studios' romantic comedy "Love Love," written and directed by Joey Power.
- "Love Love" script by Power and Daniel Sweren-Becker follows a struggling tennis phenom who falls for a charismatic local ball boy at the US Open, with their romance potentially being the spark she needs to reach the finals.
- Producers on "Love Love" include RK Films' Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum and 3 Arts Entertainments' Ari Lubet and Jonathan Berry; Alyssa Altman joins Power and May as executive producers.
- Production on "Love Love" is slated to begin this fall in New York.
- May earned rave reviews as Elsa Dutton in Paramount+'s "1883" and narrated its follow-up "1923"; she also starred in the seventh "Scream" installment, which set a franchise opening-weekend record and became the series' highest-grossing release.
- May's upcoming slate includes "Mr. Irrelevant" opposite David Corenswet (Dec. 25), Lionsgate's "Karoshi" with Tee Yoo (Jan. 29, 2027), "Love Language" with Chloë Grace Moretz, Anthony Ramos and Lukas Gage — also directed by Power — "Falling" with KJ Apa, and "The Last Mrs. Parrish" with Jennifer Lopez and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, directed by Robert Zemeckis.
Why it matters: May's post-"1883" slate has expanded quickly — she's now attached to two Joey Power films ("Love Love" and "Love Language") in addition to projects opposite Jennifer Lopez and David Corenswet, giving Amazon MGM a rising Sheridan alum as a romantic lead going into a fall 2026 New York shoot.
