New material can collect clean and safe drinking water from the air

Norwegian SINTEF scientists have created a hybrid polymer sorbent that can pull and release water from even dry air, cutting the energy cost of atmospheric water generators and moving the technology closer to serving the nearly 2 billion people lacking safe drinking water.
