Meta develops 4 new MTIA chips with Broadcom on RISC-V

Meta is rolling out four new MTIA chips—built with Broadcom on RISC‑V and fabricated by TSMC—to power its recommendation engines and generative‑AI features, using a rapid, modular design to stay ahead of fast‑evolving models. The lineup spans the training‑focused MTIA 300 to the inference‑oriented MTIA 400, 450 and 500, slated for rollout through 2027.
