- Nora and Lilla Zuckerman are taking over as co-showrunners and executive producers of ABC's "High Potential" Season 3, replacing Todd Harthan, who departed at the end of Season 2.
- The Zuckermans are signed to an overall deal at 20th Television, the studio that produces "High Potential," and previously served as showrunners on Peacock's "Poker Face."
- The pair's writing résumé includes "Suits," "Agents of SHIELD," "Prodigal Son," and "Fringe," and they are currently scripting "Scream 8" for Project X and Spyglass while being repped by UTA and Lichter Grossman.
- "High Potential" drew more than 12 million viewers for its Season 2 finale in its first seven days per Nielsen data, and remains the top broadcast series in adults 18-49 on streaming.
- Kaitlin Olson stars as Morgan, a highly intelligent cleaning woman who consults for the police, with series creator Drew Goddard continuing as executive producer alongside Sarah Esberg and Andrea Massaro of Goddard Textiles.
- A planned Hulu reboot of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that the Zuckermans were attached to write, executive produce, and showrun ultimately did not move forward.
Why it matters: ABC's "High Potential" is a top-performing broadcast show on streaming, and handing Season 3 to the Zuckermans — a team with a Rian Johnson-produced showrunning credit on "Poker Face" — signals the network is leaning on proven procedural talent to sustain momentum after Harthan's exit.
