26 ex-Meta workers sue over AI layoff targeting

- The suit accuses Meta of violating federal and state laws barring employers from terminating workers for taking protected leave
- Meta spokesperson Tracy Clayton called the claims meritless, saying "workforce management and organizational decisions were and are made by people, not AI"
