- Shakur Stevenson, 29 and from Newark, New Jersey, signed with Dana White's Zuffa Boxing, making him one of the new promotion's marquee fighters.
- Stevenson is unbeaten in 25 professional fights and holds world titles at featherweight, super-featherweight, lightweight, and super-lightweight, most recently beating Teofimo Lopez at Madison Square Garden in January.
- Stevenson said: "Line them up, one by one, and I'll beat all the top guys," declaring his goal to become the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world under the Zuffa Boxing banner.
- Dana White called the signing "massive," citing Stevenson's undefeated record, age, and four-division champion status as reasons Zuffa Boxing pursued him.
- Stevenson won an Olympic silver medal as a teenager and has beaten elite opposition including Oscar Valdez, William Zepeda, and Robson Conceicao alongside his Lopez win.
- Zuffa Boxing 10 is set for August 8 at Dublin's 3Arena, headlined by Aaron McKenna vs. Etinosa Oliha for a middleweight world title, airing live on Sky Sports with tickets via Ticketmaster.ie.
Why it matters: Zuffa Boxing — Dana White's fledgling promotional outfit — just landed its most credentialed signing yet in an undefeated, four-division champion who explicitly vowed to chase pound-for-pound No. 1. That gives the new venture instant star power against entrenched promoters, but Stevenson's stated demand for "the biggest fights" raises the bar on what matchups Zuffa must now deliver — starting with the Dublin card on August 8.
