- Natanz – The Natanz uranium enrichment complex in Isfahan province was struck twice in June 2025, first by Israel and then by the United States under Operation Midnight Hammer, with GBU‑57 bunker‑buster bombs causing structural damage to buildings, ramps and entrance pathways.
- Siri Island – Sentinel‑2 imagery from 15 April 2026 shows a massive fire at the island’s oil facilities after a direct hit to its one‑million‑barrel storage tank.
- Bandar Abbas – Planet Labs and Airbus images captured between 26 February and 1 April 2026 reveal extensive destruction at 11 locations across the port complex, including severe damage to warehouses and a docked vessel.
- Fath Air Base – High‑resolution Airbus imagery from 10 April 2026 shows collapsed roofs, severe damage to northern hangars and technical facilities, and widespread debris and burn marks on the tarmac.
- Bandar Abbas Naval Base – Planet Labs imagery from 2 March 2026 shows a direct hit on the IRIS Makran vessel, with visible fires and extensive strike damage across the base.
Why it matters: Iran’s nuclear enrichment site, oil export hub, and key ports have suffered structural damage and fires, cutting at least one million barrels of storage capacity and crippling 11 port facilities, which will shrink export revenues and hamper its nuclear program.
