- Milwaukee Brewers posted 12 hits — 10 of them singles — and scored four runs in the final four frames to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-4 in Game 2 of the NLCS on Monday, taking a 2-0 series lead.
- Contreras powered the Brewers' offense in the win, according to the headline, and vowed Milwaukee will 'keep going' after the series-opening victories.
Why it matters: A 2-0 NLCS lead puts the Brewers within two wins of the pennant while the Dodgers — who built a deep bullpen for exactly this scenario — now face elimination pressure after losing back-to-back games at home to start the series.
