- Harry Gilby joined the HBO “Harry Potter” cast as Charlie Weasley, alongside Jasper Talbot as James Potter and Hannah Chinn as Lily Potter.
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is the title attached to Season 1, and the three newly announced actors — Gilby, Talbot and Chinn — are all set to appear in it.
Why it matters: Three roles now have named performers attached — Gilby as Charlie Weasley, Talbot as James Potter and Chinn as Lily Potter — with all three appearing in Season 1. The concrete change for HBO's adaptation is a filled-out opening-season cast built around the “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” title.
