- Jake Cronenworth hit a solo home run, giving the San Diego Padres an edge in their matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers.
- The contest is a Milwaukee Brewers @ San Diego Padres game tracked pitch-by-pitch, with live data showing at-bats including an 84 MPH changeup and a 96 MPH sinking fastball.
Why it matters: A solo home run puts a run on the board without requiring teammates on base, giving the Padres a free scoring contribution from the middle infield and an advantage in the current game state against a National League opponent.
