- UFC 333 presents two championship fights: a featherweight title bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev, and a bantamweight title trilogy fight between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili.
- Alexander Volkanovski, the reigning featherweight champion, believes challenger Movsar Evloev is at a stark stylistic disadvantage, though he respects his opponent.
- Movsar Evloev has been considered the top contender for years and is confident Volkanovski is underestimating him, despite his patient, grappling-heavy style.
- Paramount+ is the exclusive streaming home for all UFC numbered events and Fight Nights for the next seven years, including UFC 333, with plans starting at $8.99/month.
- The UFC 333 event in Abu Dhabi begins with early prelims at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 24, followed by prelims at 12 p.m. and the main card at 2 p.m. ET.
Why it matters: For UFC fans, the event's exclusive move to Paramount+ under a seven-year deal changes accessibility, requiring a subscription to watch major fights. For the fighters, the main event could be a legacy-defining moment for Volkanovski or a career-topping breakthrough for the long-waiting Evloev.
