- Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) approved 12 solar projects totaling 915.1 MW and two wind projects of 400 MW combined under the LT2 Energy Window 1 procurement, marking the province’s largest public power procurement in history.
- The 14 selected projects will add over 3 TWh of annual electricity generation, enough to power more than 350,000 homes, with commercial operations expected by May 2030 under 20-year agreements.
