Shōgun Season 2 Adds 5 Cast Members as Production Starts

- FX added five new cast members to Shōgun Season 2—Risei Kukihara, Ryô Satô, Seishiro Nishida, Mantaro Koichi, and Takashi Yamaguchi—as production begins in Vancouver.
- Kukihara will play Gabriel, Satô will portray Rin, Nishida will play Jôshin, Koichi is Saitô, and Yamaguchi will portray Kanō, joining previously announced leads including Emmy winners Hiroyuki Sanada and Cosmo Jarvis.

- Season 2 casting was handled by Kei Kawamura and Laura Schiff, whose work on Season 1 won the Emmy for Outstanding Casting in a Drama Series.
- Season 2 will stream on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally, and air on the FX channel.
