Match Factory Secures Global Distribution for Cannes

- The Match Factory announced that its Cannes entry Fatherland has secured distribution in Scandinavia, Greece, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, Bulgaria, Former Yugoslavia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, MENA, Portugal, Hong Kong, Romania and the Baltics, while Mubi will handle distribution in North America, the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Mexico and India.
- The Match Factory also sold Lukas Dhont’s Coward to Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Former Yugoslavia, Hungary, the Baltics, Greece, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Taiwan, Portugal, Poland, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Romania, with Mubi overseeing North America, the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Mexico and Turkey.
- The Match Factory placed Valeska Grisebach’s The Dreamed Adventure in the Baltics, Switzerland, Greece and Indonesia; French release is set for July 15 by Haut et Court, German release will be handled by Piffl in the second half of 2026, and Janus holds North American rights.
- The Match Factory sold Jane Schoenbrun’s Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma to Greece, the Czech Republic & Slovakia, Poland, Taiwan, Scandinavia and Portugal, and Mubi will open the film in U.S. theatres on August 7 while distributing it in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain and Mexico.
