- Heated Rivalry's limited-edition soundtrack vinyl debuted at No. 1 on Amazon's Movie Soundtracks category, issued in partnership with Milan Records.
- The standard "Montreal v. Boston" vinyl packs 34 songs — including tracks by Dumas, Wet Leg, Philippe B, Baxter Dury, and Wolf Parade, plus a bonus track — with a fold-out poster and two colored discs inspired by characters Shane and Ilya.
- An "Icy Inferno" edition pressed on silver vinyl is sold exclusively through Milan Records and select Sony-affiliated retailers, while the CD version ships with a poster and trading cards.
- Music supervisor Scotty Taylor told Billboard, "There are no rules in love or music. Love is the answer and truth is the music. Love boldly. Sing loudly and be fearless."
- Since premiering in November 2025, Heated Rivalry — based on Rachel Reid's novel — has drawn more than 10 million viewers per episode, with Season 2 expected in April 2027.
- The franchise has already expanded beyond TV into merchandise, live events, a themed Airbnb rental, and an unauthorized musical parody now playing in New York City.
Why it matters: A single series' soundtrack reaching No. 1 on Amazon's Movie Soundtracks chart — with physical vinyl and CD editions selling fast — shows how niche TV adaptations are converting devoted fandoms into physical media buyers in an otherwise streaming-dominated market. With 10 million-plus viewers per episode fueling merchandise, themed rentals, and live theater extensions, the show demonstrates a multi-revenue franchise model that stretches far beyond traditional broadcast economics.
