- Caoimhin Agyarko fights IBF light-middleweight champion Josh Kelly in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, already having become the first black Irishman to fight for a world title and now targeting the first black Irish world champion.

- Agyarko, 30, was born in London to an Irish mother and Ghanaian father, moved to Belfast's Turf Lodge at age seven, won Irish and Ulster amateur honours and turned professional in 2018 after racking up early wins stalled by injury.
- The bout sits on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's ring return against Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, mirroring Anthony Cacace's 2024 first Saudi title win on the Usyk-Fury undercard.
Why it matters: Agyarko is already the first black Irishman to fight for a world title; defeating Kelly would make him Ireland's first black world champion and extend Holy Trinity's remarkable run of producing champions (Cacace, Crocker) after a 2017 stabbing and an April weigh-in collapse by Brandon Adams nearly cost him the shot entirely.
