Kate Waxman Takes Over Today’s Climate — SkimNews

Daily energy & climate — solar, EVs, oil, the policy fights and tech bets shaping the transition. Free.
- Kate Waxman is writing the first edition of Today’s Climate after taking the newsletter over from colleague Kiley Price.
- Kate Waxman is a Florida native and was an Inside Climate News fellow this summer, where she covered climate and environmental justice.
Why it matters: Waxman’s first issue marks a concrete editorial handoff from Kiley Price to a former Inside Climate News fellow. That changes who sets Today’s Climate’s direction while bringing one summer of direct climate and environmental-justice reporting into the newsletter’s coverage under Waxman.
