- Netflix is developing a reunion movie for "The Inbetweeners" with original leads Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison and James Buckley attached, though final deals are yet to be finalized.
- Banijay U.K. struck a deal less than a year ago with creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley and their Fudge Park Productions that the company said "paves the way for the return" of the comedy.
- "The Inbetweeners" originally aired on E4 in the U.K. between 2008 and 2010 across three seasons, following suburban teenager Will MacKenzie and friends at fictional Rudge Park Comprehensive, conceived as a more realistic counterpoint to "Skins."
