Anker Solix launches 7 kWh plug-in solar battery

- Anker Solix launched the Solarbank Max AC, a 7 kWh modular home battery designed to retrofit existing rooftop solar installations, featuring a bidirectional 3.5 kW inverter.
- The system's capacity is expandable to 42 kWh by adding five additional 7 kWh LFP battery modules, and the company claims it is the world's first 7 kWh all-in-one plug-in home storage system.
- The Solarbank Max AC steps up in scale from Anker Solix's existing European Solarbank lineup, which has focused primarily on balcony solar systems, and targets the large-scale rooftop retrofit market.
- The Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro, the prior product, offers 2.688 kWh per unit and up to 16 kWh total capacity with 800 W to 1,200 W output, while the Solarbank Multisystem launched in August 2025 reaches 64 kWh and 4.8 kW AC output via a central Power Dock.
