- Ochai Agbaji is signing with the Thunder as a forward to fill the team's open roster spot, according to sources who told ESPN's Shams Charania.
- Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace are the starting wings who suffered the major injuries, and the Thunder turned to Agbaji to fill the resulting vacancy.
Why it matters: Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace are the pressure point — two starting wings out with major injuries created one open roster spot. Oklahoma City's Agbaji signing turns that opening into a filled forward slot, so the Thunder absorb the injuries without going a player short.
