- Heart of Midlothian will meet Fenerbahce or Gornik Zabrze in Champions League qualifying if they get past Sturm Graz, with Benfica or St Gallen awaiting in the Europa League if they drop down a competition.
- Rangers have been seeded in the Europa League third qualifying round and drawn against Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok, who finished behind Gornik Zabrze on goal difference in the Polish league last season.
- Motherwell will take on HJK Helsinki or Coleraine in the Conference League if they progress past Faroese outfit HB.
- Hibernian will face NK Bravo of Slovenia or KF Shkendija from North Macedonia if they overcome Kosovan side FK Malisheva in the Conference League.
- Third-round qualifying ties are scheduled for 4/5 August and 11/12 August in the Champions League, with Europa League and Conference League games on 6 and 13 August, though home-and-away details are yet to be confirmed.
- Hearts last featured in Champions League qualifying in 2006-07, when they were eliminated at the third qualifying round by AEK Athens, while last term Rangers finished 32nd in the 36-team Europa League league phase with one win from eight games.
Why it matters: All four Scottish clubs now have a concrete European path, with qualifying games running 4-13 August. Hearts' potential tie against Turkish runners-up Fenerbahce — their first Champions League qualifying appearance since 2006-07 — is the marquee matchup if they advance past Sturm Graz.
