- Fox Entertainment Studios and Access Entertainment have boarded Avi Nesher’s film “Our Loves,” a drama inspired by the October 7 tragedy, as co‑studios.
- Our Loves features an ensemble cast including Shalom Michaelshvili, Magi Azarzar, Yaniv Biton, Noa Cohen, Lena Fraifeld, Hadas Yaron, Kim or Azulay, Nunu, Lior Miller, Leib Levin, Elad Turgeman, and newcomer Daniel Gimpel.
- Fox Entertainment Global is already shopping the scripted TV series “One Day in October,” about the same tragic day, which was recently acquired by HBO Max.
- Moriah Media is involved in the film production and also works on “One Day in October,” linking the two projects.
- Danny Cohen, head of Access Entertainment, said the film “encapsulates the extraordinary creative power of Israeli cinema” and has genuine global potential.
- Emilio Schenker, boss of Sipur Studios, said the partnership with Fox and Access serves as a testament to the story’s ability to transcend borders.
- United King Films is one of the producers of “Our Loves,” alongside Sipur Studios, Artomas Communications, and Access Entertainment, with executive producers including Moshe Edery, Leon Edery, Gideon Tadmor, Avi Nesher, Fernando Szew, Jim Berk, and Sheldon Rabinowitz.
Why it matters: The deal gives Fox and Access a foothold in Israeli cinema, expanding their content slate with a story the partners claim can resonate globally, while Israeli filmmakers gain major US studio backing that the partnership is presented as a testament to the story’s ability to transcend borders.
