- Detroit Lions will debut their white Nike “Defend the Den” uniform against the Vikings at 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 1, pairing white pants with a Honolulu blue helmet whose carbon-fiber-textured decals reference Detroit’s car and racing culture.
- Jacksonville Jaguars will debut a white jersey, black pants and a teal helmet—the first teal helmet in franchise history—against the Colts at 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 1; “Duval” and Jacksonville’s “904” area code appear on the helmet, while the number font draws on the city’s historic music venues and Southern rock.
- Packers and Colts are the only AFC South and NFC North teams to have worn their Rivalries uniforms, with the Colts beating the Texans in Week 3 and the Packers beating the Bears 31-7 in Week 5 for a combined 2-0 record.
- NFL scheduled four more Rivalries showings after Week 8: Jaguars-Titans on Fox on Nov. 15, Colts-Texans on Amazon on Nov. 19, Lions-Vikings on NBC on Dec. 20 and Packers-Bears on Netflix on Dec. 25.
- NFL limits each club to one Rivalries-uniform game this season but allows the design to remain in rotation for the next three years, extending the program beyond its debut.
- NFL Rivalries launched in 2025 with the AFC East and NFC West, adds the AFC South and NFC North in 2026, and is scheduled to cover all 32 teams by 2028 through the AFC West/AFC East in 2027 and AFC North/AFC South in 2028.
Why it matters: For the eight teams in the AFC South and NFC North, the Nov. 1 debuts turn local design themes into game-day looks, with Jacksonville’s first teal helmet providing the clearest visual change. Each uniform then stays available for three more seasons, while the staggered rollout reaches all 32 NFL teams by 2028.
