- Evoke Motorcycles unveiled the 2027 Nrgy electric motorcycle with a targeted US starting price of $4,995 and a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph), putting it above urban-only electric two-wheelers.
- The Nrgy is offered in two versions — a 6.4 kWh Nrgy 6 at $4,995 and an 8.4 kWh Nrgy 8 at $6,495.
- Both models use lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) cells rather than higher energy-density chemistries, trading energy density for thermal stability, longer cycle life, and potentially lower costs.
- The Nrgy is built around Evoke's patented Twin Plate chassis architecture with disc brakes at both ends, featuring slab-sided body panels and a faux-tank silhouette.
- Evoke CEO Nathan Siy said the Nrgy "fills an important gap" in the company's global product portfolio, with the Beijing-based company targeting Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America.
- Evoke has not yet announced range figures for either model, and final regional pricing, homologation details, preorder timing, and delivery schedules are expected in the coming months.
Why it matters: At a $4,995 target price with a 75 mph top speed, the Nrgy undercuts most highway-capable electric motorcycles currently sold in the US, which typically carry far higher price tags. The LFP battery choice prioritizes durability and cost over maximum range — and Evoke has not yet announced range figures.
