- Zelenskyy said Ukraine must 'unblock' Patriot missile delivery after deadly strikes on the country, making the missile system an explicit public demand.
- Russia bombed Kyiv while Ukraine fired drones toward Moscow despite talk of renewing negotiations, and CNN's headline places the massive Kyiv strikes hours after Putin agreed to fresh peace talks.
Why it matters: Zelenskyy's demand to 'unblock' Patriot delivery comes with the strikes still unanswered: CNN's headline places the massive Kyiv strikes hours after Putin agreed to fresh peace talks. Kyiv and Moscow are therefore negotiating and trading fire at once, with the missile-delivery blockage Zelenskyy named left unresolved.
