- UKHSA issued amber heat-health alerts for 8 English regions — Yorkshire and the Humber, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, South East, London, South West and North West — from 9am Tuesday 11 August to 9pm Friday 14 August; the North East is under a yellow alert over the same period.
