Colón-Zayas & Hiller to Announce 78th Emmy Noms July 8

- The Television Academy announced that Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) and Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere) will present the 78th Emmy Awards nominations on Wednesday, July 8, at 8:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. ET, streaming live from the Academy's Wolf Theatre.
- Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego will host the ceremony, calling this year's submissions a reflection of "the undiminished creative range and vitality of our medium" and celebrating both emerging talent and established voices.
- Colón-Zayas won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2024 for The Bear, making history as the first Latina to win in that category, and will star in the show's upcoming fifth and final season and in the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day opposite Tom Holland.
- Hiller won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2025 for Somebody Somewhere; he previously appeared in two seasons of American Horror Stories and can be seen this season in Widow's Bay and Stumble.
