- Disney set a premiere date of Aug. 13 on Disney Channel and Aug. 14 on Disney+ for 'Camp Rock 3,' the third installment of the franchise that originally helped launch the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.
- The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are executive producers on the reboot, with Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas also reprising their roles as Shane, Nate and Jason Gray.
- The film introduces a new generation of Disney talent — Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean — with Sherry Cola co-starring and Maria Canals-Barrera returning as Connie.
- The plot centers on the Gray brothers losing their opening act ahead of a major Connect 3 reunion tour, prompting a return to Camp Rock where campers compete for the slot, sparking new alliances and romances.
- Veronica Rodriguez directed from a script by Eydie Faye, with choreography by Jamal Sims and executive production also credited to Tim Federle, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman and Gary Marsh under the Disney Kids & Family banner.
- The film's first single, 'One Beat Away,' is already available to stream and features in the released teaser.
Why it matters: Disney is reviving a teen-musical franchise tied to two of its biggest 2000s breakouts (the Jonas Brothers and Lovato), positioning them as executive producers who hand off to a new roster of young Disney talent. The simultaneous Disney Channel + Disney+ rollout treats the reboot as a tentpole family release for late summer 2025.
