Villa Sign Gomes from Wolves for £38m

- Aston Villa completed the £38m signing of midfielder Joao Gomes from Wolves for an initial £34m plus £4m in add-ons.
- Atletico Madrid were also keen on Gomes, but the 25-year-old left Wolves' training camp in Portugal on Thursday to finalize his move to Villa Park.
