- FLO released their second album "Therapy at the Club," their most creatively autonomous record yet — the trio wrote separately before bringing ideas back to one another, a shift from their Grammy-nominated debut "Access All Areas," which they wrote together.
- Therapy at the Club pushes deeper into pop while keeping R&B at the core, exemplified by "Remedied," co-written with Grammy-winning songwriter Amy Allen, whose recent credits include work with Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae.
- FLO has amassed over 5 million monthly Spotify listeners, 1.2 million TikTok followers, and nearly 58 million TikTok likes, and won Best R&B/Soul Act at the 2026 MOBO Awards — a profile bolstered by an NPR Tiny Desk performance viewed more than a million times.
- The title track frames friendship as a form of healing, with the lyric "If you ever fall out of love / try therapy at the club," inspired, Quaresma said, by nights out where "your friends are saying, 'No, you're coming out, you're going to dance and forget about it for a second.'"
- kwn is one of just two guest features on the album, returning for "Sex in Peace" after their prior collaboration; Downer said the British R&B singer sent back her verse "really quickly" with "no notes."
- FLO members say they're focused on elevating live performance, choreography, and visuals alongside the album, with Douglas calling the work "the most thrilling, entertaining, fulfilling job we could have ever asked for."
Why it matters: FLO's deliberate shift to writing separately and landing a co-write with pop hitmaker Amy Allen signals a bid to convert a 5M+ Spotify audience and MOBO-winning credibility into pop crossover, with Quaresma saying the trio now wants "the shows, the numbers, the awards, the love and the success" after outgrowing what she called the "crutch" of leaning on outside writers.
