- Anil Menon and CSA astronaut Joshua Kutryk performed a spacewalk to install and deploy an International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Array (IROSA).
- Joshua Kutryk, a CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut, is paired on the spacewalk with NASA astronaut Anil Menon, putting both agencies on the same EVA.
- International Space Station — the roll-out array work happens on the station itself, and the spacewalk is being carried live for viewers.
Why it matters: The spacewalk's stated task is installation and deployment of a roll-out solar array, so the concrete change is a newly deployed array unit on the ISS. Pairing a NASA astronaut with a Canadian Space Agency astronaut on one EVA also puts both agencies on the same hardware mission.
