- NATAS will make the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards available exclusively through its YouTube page for a second consecutive year, with the ceremony set for Friday, October 30.
- Hollywood Palladium will host the ceremony, whose YouTube livestream begins with the red-carpet preshow at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET before the 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET main event.
- CBS most recently aired the Daytime Emmys from 2020 through 2024, while the 2026 ceremony is available only through NATAS’ YouTube page.
- The Young and the Restless leads the 2026 nominee field with 18, followed by Beyond the Gates with 15 and General Hospital with 13.
- The Kelly Clarkson Show leads the talk-show field with 10 nominations in its final year.
- Genie Francis will receive the Live Achievement award, while this year’s Gold Circle and Silver Circle recipients will also be honored.
Why it matters: For CBS, whose broadcasts ran from 2020 through 2024, the 2026 ceremony continues with a second consecutive year of YouTube-only distribution and no traditional-television broadcast. Viewers must use NATAS’ YouTube page for the 4 p.m. PT red carpet and 5 p.m. PT main ceremony.
