- Tottenham Hotspur beat Coventry City 3-1, securing their first Premier League win of the season
- Roberto de Zerbi said his Spurs side still "lack confidence" despite the result
- De Zerbi insisted that Spurs "are a good team" even as confidence remains an issue
- De Zerbi hailed the spirit and attitude of his side after the Coventry win
- Tottenham Hotspur head coach De Zerbi framed the result as evidence of underlying quality rather than a turnaround in belief
Why it matters: A first Premier League win of the season at Tottenham - one of the league's highest-spending clubs - signals how far off-track the campaign had been, and De Zerbi's framing that talent exists but confidence doesn't points to a psychological rebuild rather than a squad overhaul as the immediate priority.
