- Alessia Russo became England’s all-time leading goalscorer in the Women’s Champions League through the same hat-trick.
Why it matters: For Arsenal, the 3-0 result over Benfica was secured by the same three goals that made Russo England’s all-time leading Women’s Champions League scorer. One performance therefore delivered both a clear team victory and a documented individual milestone in the match.
