- Encore AI raised a $30 million Series A led by Team8, with Planven, Lukatz, Garage, and several banks and insurers also participating — some of the financial institutions invested after first deploying Encore's product.
- CEO Dvir Ginzburg founded the company in 2022 as Insait IO, originally building recommendation software for financial advisers and relationship managers before rebranding and pivoting to an enterprise voice-agent platform.
- Encore's platform runs a process Ginzburg calls 'interaction mining,' ingesting call recordings, emails, texts, and CRM data, then dividing each customer journey into stages to surface which conversational tactics moved deals forward — and training agents on those winning playbooks.
- The AI agents can speak with customers directly by voice or text or assist employees in real time, sometimes replicating the exact jokes, anecdotes, and examples used by a client's top relationship managers.
- Encore serves more than 40 enterprise customers globally, the majority financial institutions, and says annual recurring revenue has grown more than 5x since its seed round less than 18 months ago (exact figures and valuation undisclosed).
- Ginzburg argued Encore's edge against Salesforce, SAP, Zoho, and HubSpot is that those incumbents treat conversational history as one data point among many; making it the foundation of agent training, he said, would require overhauling their entire implementation and tech stacks.
Why it matters: Encore trains agents on the conversational tactics proven to work inside each customer rather than a generic model. Ginzburg argues incumbents like Salesforce and HubSpot would need to overhaul their tech stacks to do the same — giving Encore's 40+ financial institution customers and 5x ARR growth since seed a head start in enterprise voice agents.
