- Renato Moicano headlines his fifth UFC event against Tom Nolan on Saturday after demanding a “money fight”; an injury to “T-City” left him looking elsewhere after a Brian Ortega booking at UFC 332.
- Tom Nolan enters the main event after upsetting Fares Ziam to break into the lightweight Top 15, with the Moicano bout offering him a chance to match his critical reception with commercial recognition.
- Ciryl Gane, the newly crowned heavyweight champion, is scheduled to defend his title against fast-rising Josh Hokit in November at Madison Square Garden.
- Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes will meet in the November co-main event at Madison Square Garden, a long-awaited title fight moved from January because of Harrison’s injury.
- Charles Oliveira closes 2026 by defending the ceremonial BMF title against Diego Lopes, who makes his lightweight debut after twice challenging for the featherweight title.
Why it matters: Moicano’s fifth-event headliner against Nolan came after an injury to “T-City” disrupted his UFC 332 booking with Brian Ortega. Moicano gets the name-stage main event he demanded, while Nolan’s upset of Fares Ziam and top-15 breakthrough bring him a marquee fight against a seasoned veteran.
