- Netflix renewed the animated series Haunted Hotel for Season 3 on Halloween eve, with the new season slated to premiere in 2027.
- Haunted Hotel Season 2 debuted on the Global English TV Top 10 list, the performance Netflix cites as the basis for the renewal.
- Netflix says Season 1 of Haunted Hotel has surpassed 15 million views since its September 2025 release.
- Matt Roller, who created Haunted Hotel, said Season 3 contains "the biggest, funniest, scariest, saddest, and Abaddoniest stories we've ever told," adding, "Candles!"
- Haunted Hotel Season 2 follows a single mother trying to run the world's most haunted hotel with her ghost brother, two kids, a demon trapped in a little boy's body, and a growing collection of ghosts, monsters and supernatural disasters.
- Will Forte stars alongside Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides and Jimmi Simpson.
- Titmouse will serve as the studio, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina executive producing alongside Roller, Chris McKenna, Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon and Steve Levy; Erica Hayes is supervising director.
Why it matters: Netflix is committing to a 2027 season of a title that has already posted a Top 10 debut for Season 2 and more than 15 million Season 1 views since September 2025. That extends a proven performer into 2027 for Netflix and hands Titmouse another season of production with executive producers Chris Prynoski and Chris McKenna.
