- A2 e-tron achieves 12.8 kWh/100km WLTP efficiency and a 0.24 drag coefficient, making it Audi's most efficient series-production vehicle ever, with up to 401 miles (646 km) of WLTP range.
- A2 e-tron is offered in four power levels (125, 140, 170, and 240 kW) across three battery sizes (52, 61, and 84 kWh), with DC fast-charging up to 183 kW recharging the 84 kWh pack from 10–80% in roughly 29 minutes.
- Pricing in Germany starts at €38,200 (~$45,000) for the base 52 kWh / 125 kW model, rising to €41,900 (61 kWh), €48,900 (170 kW / 84 kWh), and €51,200 for the range-topping 240 kW variant.
- Orders open September 10, 2026, with first customer deliveries expected to begin in December 2026; the vehicle is built at Audi's Ingolstadt plant in Germany.
- Features include standard bidirectional charging via Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Home (in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with a DC wall box), a standard driver-assist suite, and Audi's first factory use of the Fidlock magnetic storage system.
- The A2 e-tron is built specifically for the European market; Audi has not confirmed US availability, dampening hopes for American buyers.
Why it matters: At roughly €38,200 with 401 miles of range and 12.8 kWh/100km efficiency, the A2 e-tron undercuts most premium EVs on both price and range — but a Germany-only build and explicitly European targeting mean U.S. buyers won't see this model on their lots.
