- Nothing is preparing to launch a screen-free device next month, according to the company’s teaser.
- Nothing CEO said the mysterious AI-first product could not have been an app, underscoring that its design depends on dedicated hardware.
Why it matters: Nothing is making a hardware-first claim for a product scheduled to launch next month. The device’s screen-free, AI-first design—and the CEO’s insistence that it could not have been an app—positions it as a distinct hardware category rather than software on an existing phone.
