- Taylor Swift had three dates of her global Eras Tour canceled in Vienna in August 2024 after authorities warned of a terrorist plot.
- Austrian authorities thwarted the planned jihadist attack with help from a tip-off from U.S. intelligence, and a documentary will examine that plot in depth.
Why it matters: The cancellation cost Taylor Swift three scheduled Eras Tour dates in Vienna in August 2024, while Austrian authorities and U.S. intelligence stopped the attack before it could be carried out. The documentary puts the security response and tip-off—not just the concert disruption—at the center of the story.
