- Capgemini reports the global millionaire population grew 7.9% to 25.3 million in 2025, with total wealth rising 8.7% to $98.3 trillion — the fastest growth in five years.
- UHNWI numbers rose 9.4% to 250,000 and their fortunes grew 9.7%, giving them 35% of all millionaire wealth while representing only 1% of the millionaire population.
- U.S. added 730,000 new millionaires in 2025, bringing its total to 8.73 million and its collective fortunes to $31.3 trillion.
- Asia saw millionaire wealth climb 10.5% and the population increase 9.4%, with Korea’s stock market up 76% and Taiwan’s semiconductor stocks driving growth.
- Millionaires increased the share of stocks in their portfolios to 25% in 2025, up from 22% in 2024.
Why it matters: Investors in equities benefit from the rising stock allocation among millionaires, while wealth inequality widens as ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals capture a disproportionate share of the $98 trillion wealth pool.
