- Jason Moloney, the Australian former bantamweight world champion (29-4, 20 KOs), has signed a multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing.
- Moloney captured the world title in 2023 with a victory over Filipino fighter Vincent Astrolabio and defended it in a 12-round bout against Saul Sanchez before losing the belt to Japan's Yoshiki Takei in Tokyo in 2024.
- Moloney is currently ranked No. 3 by the WBC and said he joined Zuffa because the promotion matches 'the best against the best.'
- Moloney arrives at Zuffa off a unanimous decision win over contender Andre Donovan in July.
- Zuffa Boxing 10 is scheduled for August 8 at Dublin's 3Arena, headlined by a middleweight world title clash between Ireland's Aaron McKenna and Italy's Etinosa Oliha, airing live on Sky Sports.
Why it matters: Moloney, the WBC's No. 3 bantamweight and a former titleholder, brings proven championship experience and a 20-KO resume to Zuffa's growing roster, strengthening the promotion's bantamweight division ahead of its August 8 Dublin card.
