- SportsLine's model simulated the 2026 NFL season 10,000 times, releasing Fantasy football rankings for PPR and non-PPR leagues, and has a track record that includes calling Daniel Jones' 2025 QB10 finish, Jonathan Taylor's 2021 season, Rachaad White's 2023 breakout, and Isiah Pacheco as a 2025 bust
- The top of the 2026 Fantasy football ADP board is dominated by RBs and WRs in the first two rounds, with Jahmyr Gibbs (1.41), Bijan Robinson, Ja'Marr Chase, Puka Nacua, Jonathan Taylor, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba going off the board first on average in early August
- Josh Allen is the fastest-rising QB in ADP data, jumping seven spots to No. 19 and standing alone in his own tier at the position
- Kenneth Gainwell is flagged as a sleeper at ADP No. 101 after replacing Rachaad White in Tampa, with coach Todd Bowles labeling him 1B to Bucky Irving's 1A in the Buccaneers backfield
- Bhayshul Tuten is projected as a breakout at ADP No. 56 (sometimes going as late as pick 94), now atop the Jaguars depth chart after Travis Etienne's departure to New Orleans and with the fastest 40-yard dash time of any RB in the 2025 draft class
- Kenneth Walker III is called a bust despite being drafted at No. 23 overall, as no Chiefs RB has cleared 1,000 rushing yards since 2017 in Andy Reid's pass-first offense and Walker brings injury risk after missing games in 2022, 2023, and 2024
- The model is also high on a tight end ranked as a 'shocking top-8 option' ahead of Travis Kelce and Sam LaPorta, with that identity and the full rankings available only through SportsLine
Why it matters: Fantasy drafters in August face a clear tension: Walker's Super Bowl run has pushed his ADP to No. 23, but SportsLine's model — which correctly called Pacheco as a 2025 bust and Jones as a 2025 QB10 — sees Reid's pass-first offense capping his ceiling. With the top of the draft board locked into RBs and WRs, late-round values like Gainwell (ADP 101) and Tuten (ADP 56) are the model's top sleepers and breakouts.
