- No Ukrainian institution organized the trip — Zelensky's office learned of Loomer's presence through social media, with spokesperson Dmytro Lytvyn confirming the meeting.
- Skepticism of Ukraine aid has been shared by other MAGA-aligned figures including Tucker Carlson and JD Vance, who clashed with Zelensky in a heated Oval Office meeting with Trump.
- Marco Rubio said Thursday at a Manila gathering of foreign ministers that his side is "poised to help end the 'senseless war'" but acknowledged no quick path to a deal.
