- Al Jazeera investigation exposed that viewing numbers for an Israeli counter-film about Gaza were fake, according to the network's probe
- Netanyahu ordered the identification and prosecution of interviewees who appeared in the "NAZA" Gaza war documentary, per the headline
- NPR reported that the Gaza war documentary sparked outrage in Israel, with the Financial Times describing the film as "brutally hard viewing" featuring Israeli accounts of the assault on Gaza
Why it matters: Al Jazeera's exposure of fabricated viewership numbers directly undercuts the credibility of the Israeli counter-narrative documentary, while Netanyahu's prosecution order for interviewees signals the government's intent to take legal action against Israeli citizens whose testimony diverges from the official framing of the Gaza war.
