- Carrick oversees key domestic dates including the FA Cup third round (January 9), Carabao Cup final (March 21), and FA Cup final (May 22).
Why it matters: Carrick's first full season gets a soft landing with the six easiest-ranked opening fixtures, but the schedule front-loads punishment: all three first meetings with top-six opposition (Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal) come away from home before Christmas. The compressed January-February home run against the same three opponents could define whether United's Champions League return becomes a title push or a fight for fourth.
