- 20th Century Studios released the first trailer for Whalefall, an adaptation of Daniel Kraus' novel arriving in theaters this October.
- Austin Abrams stars as a scuba diver swallowed by an 80-foot, 60-ton sperm whale with one hour of oxygen to escape; the film is described as The Martian meets 127 Hours and also features Josh Brolin, Elisabeth Shue, and John Ortiz.
