- Scott White identified 10 sleeper hitters for Fantasy Baseball Week 21 (Aug. 10-16), all rostered in under 80% of CBS Sports leagues, serving as injury fill-ins or hot-hand waiver plays.
- Ezequiel Duran and Andrew Vaughn headline the list as top sleeper hitters for the upcoming scoring period.
- The Texas Rangers draw the best overall hitter matchup for Week 21, with four games at the Angels and three at the Athletics.
- Cubs, Giants, Rays, and Mets round out the top five best hitter matchups, each playing six games across mixed competition.
- Padres, Tigers, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Yankees face the toughest Week 21 hitter matchups, per White's analysis.
- White promised updated recommendations Sunday before the scoring period begins.
Why it matters: For fantasy owners scanning the waiver wire before Week 21 (Aug. 10-16), White's list surfaces 10 under-rostered bats with matchup-driven upside — while the same matchup data flags clear downside for hitters on Padres, Tigers, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Yankees rosters facing the week's toughest pitching schedules.
