- "The Last House" debuted with 27.5 million views in its first three days on Netflix, topping the platform's viewership rankings for the week of Aug. 3-9 as both the No. 1 English-language film and most-watched title overall.
- Kevin Hart's "72 Hours" landed right behind at No. 2 on the English-language films list with 11.1 million views in its third week on the chart.
- "Spider-Man: Far from Home" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" took the next two English-language film spots, boosted by the July 31 theatrical release of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."
- "The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare" held the No. 1 TV title for the second consecutive week with 10.6 million views, after opening with 18.2 million views the prior week.
- Season 3 of "My Life With the Walter Boys" debuted with 9 million views in its first four days, slotting in right behind the true-crime doc on the TV chart.
- "The Bombing of Pan Am 103" remained in third place on the TV side for the second straight week.
Why it matters: "The Last House" pulled 27.5 million views in three days — more than double the 11.1 million for No. 2 English-language film "72 Hours" — giving Netflix a dominant weekly chart leader. The Brand New Day coattail effect pushed two older Spider-Man films into the top four English-language spots, while true-crime and YA staples held down the TV side, showing simultaneous strength across film and series formats in a single chart week.
