- Johan Manzambi headed the only goal as Aston Villa beat Newcastle 1-0 at St James' Park
- The result marked Unai Emery's 100th Premier League victory as Aston Villa manager
- Aston Villa claimed all three Premier League points away from home, with the match report confirming a 0-1 final score at Newcastle
Why it matters: Emery's 100th Premier League victory milestone underscores Aston Villa's sustained competitiveness under his management, with Manzambi's late decisive header adding three points to a club pushing for European qualification. The narrow 1-0 margin away at Newcastle reflects Villa's growing ability to grind out results on the road against established top-flight opposition.
